So I have had quite a few dreams lately in which I had to go back to high school as an adult. In one i went back to retake theatre and took a class that was co-taught by Losenski and Rosavear, but my boyfriend Paul was in the class with me. I also dreamed that I had to go back and couldn't remember my schedule. I had another dream where I went back to high school and hid in the bath room because I didn't want to go to science class. Lastly had a dream that Bruce my son was kidnapped.
So looking up the meaning of these, here is what I have discovered from www.dreammoods.com/dreamdictionary/:
High School -To dream about high school, refers to the bonds and friendships that you made while you were in high school. What spiritual lessons have you learned? The dream may also be telling you that you need to start preparing for the real world.
To dream that you have to repeat high school, suggests that you are doubting your accomplishments and the goals that you have already completed. You feel that you may not be measuring up to the expectation of others. The dream may occur because some recent situation may have awakened old anxieties and insecurities.
Forgetting - To dream that you are forgetting things, signify life's anxieties. You are expressing an overwhelming amount of stress in your life. You feel the need to tend to everything and everyone's needs. Alternatively, forgetting something may represent your unconscious desire to leave that something behind. On a more direct level, the dream could just be your subconscious telling you or reminding you of a forgotten appointment or date.
Kidnapper - To dream that you are being kidnapped, denotes feelings of being trapped and restricted. Someone or some situation may be diverting your concentration and your attention away from your goals.
To dream that someone has been kidnapped, indicates that you are not letting aspects and characteristics of that person be expressed within you. You are trying to contain and/or suppress those qualities of the kidnapped person.
