  • It's the end of the year as we know it and I feel fine.

As per tradition for the last couple years, I have been looking over my resolution from last year and evaluating how much I have accomplished and what I still have left to do.

    Here are my 2008 Resolutions.

    1

    Gain 10 pounds.

I made this resolution because I figure you rarely keep your resolutions. I failed it utterly because after giving birth to bruce I dropped 25 lbs and gained back 5 lbs, thus losing a total of wenty pounds. Hooray for a broken resolution and no weight, is a win-win situation.

    2

Move / maintain a tidy living enviroment

I actually succeded in this resolution. I manage to move out, I partnered up with my sister and tom who help with preventing having our main areas as a sty.

    3

Give birth to a healthy baby.

It happened and it was awesome. Looking forward to the next time.

    4

Be a responsible adult and mother.

I am going to consider this one accomplished. I have definitely reformed my alcoholic party animal ways and I manage to pay my bills on time.

    5

    Pierce eyebrow again.

Did it once haven’t done it again...yet.

Here are my goals for this year:

    1

Filing all tax returns and paying off all back taxes.

This will be done before the 1st of February. I am afraid I probably owe the government a good deal of money. This is what I get for trusting my father with any matter financial.

    2

    Help Bruce develop.

Goal is that he will be completely off the bottle by this time next year. Additionally, I want to have started potty training. I also want to see him walking by this time next year, speaking a few words would not be bad either.

    3

Move / maintain a tidy living enviroment

I intend to find a new location just as good as this one when my lease is up. I am also going to be a better roommate by being a better housekeeper. I am going to be proactive about not letting dishes and laundry pile up.

    4

    Minimizing credit card debit.

This past year I got it so that the balance on all my credit cards was zero. I am going to do this again and then I am going to put my credit cards on ice literally. I am going to freeze them in a block of ice and keep their blance at less than $20.

    5

    Gain 10 pounds.

I feel this is a vary important resolution, because I figure you rarely keep your resolutions. So it is a win-win situation: If I actually gained 3 pounds I would have completed my resolution, and if I don't gain the weight, Hooray for not gaining weigh

As a you make your resolutions may I suggest this article: Organizing Your Resolutions

Last year I also took a moment to reflect on people who had made a difference in my life and i feel this would be a goo d habit to maintain. So here are the people who have had a large influence on my ife this year and will probably continue to in the future.
