  • Woot for internet!

I have the internet again, so I can actually post again. Yay!

Not that there is much to post about. I spend most of my time at home chillin’ with Rachie, Tom, Mom, Bruce and occassionally Erica. The house never stays clean and Bruce grows everyday, which is enough to keep me occupied but doesn’t make for very interesting postage.

    Here’s the current update:

Work: is driving me nuts. We have almost no surveys in which means we are getting out way early everynight. I got 25 hours last week. It’s killing me. I’m praying we get more work SOON. Other than the lack of hours it is going really well. I am hoping one person I work with goes away, because I don’t like her. The big boss is on vacation.

School:  I am worried about how I am going to be able to afford next semester, time and money wise. I don’t have someone to watch Bruce in the morning which means that he would have to go to childcare and beside the fact that putting him in day care scares the bannanas out of me, it is really expensive. I may look into an online degree. I am dissatisified with ASU West anyway, they are so podunk.

Family: My mom is a freaking GODDESS! I honestly don’t know how I would live without her. She comes and watches Bruce everyday while I go to work. The phrase “God can’t do everything so he invented mothers” applies in this case. I also enjoy hanging out with her. It makes me happy.

Roommates: It’s a blast living with Tom and Rachael as well. We all make an effort to keep the apartment tidy. Rachie cooks dinner every night; Tom’s a stickler about making sure there are not dishes in the sink. I police Mom’s news papers as they have a way of making their way over to our place.

Bruce (my son): He is getting to be so big. He is now almost 14 lbs and 2 ft tall. He has good head and limb control. He has finally got on some sort of sleeping and eating schedule. For him bed time is about midnight (which make sense as that is around my bedtime) and then he is very much like a hobbit. He wakes up around 6 am for breakfast, goes back to sleep until 8 am at which point he has 2nd breakfast, then elevensies and lunch then second lunch and afternoon tea … I am excited though he is sleeping through 6.5 hours of the night which makes a big difference for me and the quality of sleep I get. He is also quickly developing his ablitiy to grasp objects. He gets a good hold on all his stufffed animals and can hold onto necklaces, shirts, blankets. He is a very skilled hair puller. He is also very attentive and is always looking around at things. Though he’s taking up the bad habit of watching the TV when it’s on. I must nip that in the bud. He doesn’t like being on his tummy so that is the area we are working on because he must spend time on his tummy inorder to work his way up to crawling. Aunt Rachael has taught him how to stick out his tongue. He thinks she is the shit. Let’s hope she doesn’t teach him the word no.

Social Life: It’s slim. I’m occupied. I take Bruce over to see his other Grandma every other sunday. I spent time with Erica. We took Bruce to see Wall-E which was an excellent film that I recommend to all of you. I also went to Liz Pike Wright’s baby shower, which was adoreable. I was glad to see so many old friends.

My life is good I hope your is too.

    P.S. I miss you, Susan.
    I miss you, Bridgette.
    I miss you, Bethany.
    I miss you, Katie Holly.
     and I miss you, Robby.

  • I miss you too Randi!
Matt’s brother is finishing the computer for you if you still need one.:)
If you need help with watching Bruce in the morning I can help. Childcare is expensive and I would love to help in that area.  We will see what kind of schedule we can work out.
Call me when you are free….dont be afraid if it’s late because Matt and I stay up. He is working until 5am tomorrow morning.

  • I misses yous toos!!!!

Just been busy from working since I got back. Dealing with some crazy fmily shit and hoping to save up some money so that one day I can afford a wedding when I graduate… I’m so proud of your sweetie! I would watch bruce if I could but I don’t think he’s ready for a daily airplane commute, lol. I’ll see you next time I’m in town… and force myself not o steal your baby again.

  • Oh Randi… I miss you more.

I wish I could be there to see you and that little hobbit baby of yours. I’m glad all is going well, and don’t worry about the school thing. Everything has a way of working itself out.

    Keep in touch.
